Dear Colleague:

The AGS 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting (#AGS20), scheduled for May 6-9, 2020 in Long Beach, CA, has been canceled. 

Please know that, for the AGS staff and all our AGS leaders, our Annual Scientific Meeting is a celebration of our members and the work they do every day on behalf of older adults. Every year, we look forward to experiencing the collective joy of members coming together to learn, laugh, and celebrate all that is geriatrics.  We know that for our members and attendees, our meeting is a time to make new friends and catch up with old friends. In sum, the meeting is a physical reminder of geriatrics health professionals’ enthusiasm, knowledge, and commitment to the health and well-being of us all as we age.

This FAQ will answer some of the questions you may have. Over the next several weeks, the AGS staff team will regroup to consider ways we can connect with and learn from each other virtually.

We hope that all geriatrics health professionals who are on the frontlines of caring for older adults will be able to take time during the coming weeks as we collectively work to address the impact of COVID-19. We appreciate that these are difficult times and are grateful to be a part of such a warm caring community.

Registration is coordinated with Showcare Event Solutions. Once your booth is confirmed, you will receive an email with details about how to register your team.

Written notification must be received to cancel or reduce exhibit booth space no later than April 1, 2020. Cancellations 90 days or more prior to the opening date will be charged 50% of the total contracted booth space fee. Cancellations within 90 days or less prior to opening date will be charged 100% of the total contracted booth space fee. No refund will be issued after April 1, 2020.

In the event the entire exhibit area is sold out, there will be an administrative fee of 25% of the canceled or reduced total contracted booth space fee.

Space not claimed and occupied by close of set-up times, the exhibitor will pay as liquidated damages 100% of the total contracted booth space fee
