This year's Medical & Surgical Specialties Section meeting will take place on Thursday, April 30th from 10-11am Eastern Time. (No advance registration needed). Our main speaker this year is Alexis Bakos, Program Officer at the National Institute on Aging (NIA), who will discuss “Opportunities for Early Career and Established Investigators at the NIA.”  This is an outstanding opportunity to hear the latest information in funding updates and career opportunities from the NIA. After a Q&A with the speaker, we will hear from some of our specialty leaders about their efforts this year to integrate aging into their specialty professional societies.
