This session will bring awareness of VA research and research opportunities to clinicians and early-career, mid-career, or established investigators in the field of aging research. The session will end with small group breakouts to allow attendees to query VA program officers and current investigators about current funding opportunities and strategies for success. Learning Objectives: (1) describe the VA mission, research services and funding opportunities in the field of aging research available to investigators at different career stages; (2) describe VA research priorities, including strategic and cross-cutting priorities, and new initiatives; (3) identify resources for research training within the VA, including the Geriatrics Research and Education and Clinical Center system; and (4) list examples of VA aging research and VA research career trajectories.
